Summary Redmi Note 11S
Design-wise, the Redmi Note 11S is somewhat boring. The frame is made of plastic and the back panel is built well as is the handset easy to hold. Xiaomi has chosen to use a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, with quite a high peak brightness that can go 1,000nits or more. This phone runs a MediaTek Helio G96 processor. It has MIUI 13, but this version still runs Android 11 and not 12.
The redmi note 11S has enough power to handle the most simple games and applications well. Certain applications in MIUI 13, such as GetApps and GetApps, are prone to be spammy. Videos appeared good on the phone’s screen, but the stereo sound was not quite balanced. The lower speaker was more clear that the headset. The battery’s life was excellent.
The battery’s capacity is 5,000mAh, which can provide the equivalent of a full day’s time, even under intensive use. The camera’s 108-megapixel resolution is the phone’s biggest selling factor. It’s able to take great pictures when you shoot at the native resolution in the daytime but it’s otherwise average, like the other cameras.
It’s better to wait some time before making any purchase decision about this phone since more options will come out very soon.
